Itinerario
Choquequirao Trek 4 Days and 3 nights
DAY 01: CUSCO – CACHORA – ROSALINA
Pass by your hotel to take our bus towards Cachora district, passing through the towns of Izcuchaca, and Curawasi Limatambo Cachora reaching around 10.00am. We have a visit to the village and after lunch, after lunch we walk towards our Wanka Qalli Grande, from this point we can see the mountains lies the archaeological complex of Choquequirao, and a beautiful view of the mountains of Vilcabamba, salqantay boy and others from the sector capuliyuq. Then descend to, Cuca Masana, where the flora and fauna begin to change, to reach Rosalina Beach. .. Camp.
DAY 02: ROSALINA – SANTA ROSA – MARAMPATA – CHOQUEQUIRAO
After breakfast we went to the distillery of sugar cane liquor. In the area called Santa Rosa. The second day of the hike is considered the most difficult, with Marampata direction, the tour will observe orchids and violets, if we are lucky we will see wildlife such as deer, anteaters and diversity of birds and insects. After a typical lunch break in Marampata continue with direction to the Inca citadel of Choquequirao, after an hour and a half of hiking, we reach the main point to visit the Inca citadel of which is the sector and pariaq phaqchayuq and uploaded qaqa our camp.
DAY 03: CHOQUEQUIRAO – SANTA ROSA – CHIQUISCA
Po in the early morning after breakfast ascend to one of the most important choqueqirao citadel, considered the primary sector, the sectors of urin and hanan also ushnu and sector of the flames, then return for lunch and a rest before descending the same route to Ch’iquisca, our last camp.
DAY 04: CHIQUISCA – CAPULIYUC – CACHORA – CUSCO
After breakfast at Chiquisca start the ascent to the viewpoint of Wayna Qalli. From the lookout you can see the canyon formed by the Apurimac River, considered the most spectacular in South America. Arrival Cachora where we expect a typical lunch and return to the city of Cusco.
