Paracas And Ballestas Islands 2 Days
DAY 01:
Departure from Lima at 04:15 a.m. by “Cruz del Sur” bus. Arriving in Paracas at at 07:45 a.m. Then we will move to the Ballestas Islands by small speedboat. (Tour Duration: 2 hours).
15 minutes away of distance travelled we will to arrive at the “Candelabro” (candelabrum), a similar figure to the Nazca Lines. In that moment the guide will explain you the various existing theories about this figure.
15 minutes away more, we are coming to the Ballestas Islands, where you will observe its rocky formations and its wide variety of marine life. You can see thousands of guano birds, Humboldt penguins, sealions, pelicans, cormorants and a lot of variety of other seabirds. End of tour at 10:00 a.m.
11:00 a.m. Paracas Reserve Tour. We will leave by car to visit the Paracas Peninsula. In that place, we can visit “La Catedral” (cathedral), which is a rock formation caused by erosion wind and sea. We can stay here for about one and a half hours.
You can visit else Yumaque Beach, Red Beach and Lagunillas Beach. In these beaches you can enjoy of sunbathing, swimming and also you can eat delicious fish and shellfish while you watch many flamingos in the Bay area. Then we will arrive at the visitor center of the Paracas Reserve. We are going to take a hike around the Bay of Paracas where you can observe flamingos. This Tour ends at 3:00 p.m.
We will depart by bus up to Nazca at 5:00 p.m. We are arriving in Nazca at 8:30 p.m. Reception and transfer to indicated hotel.
DAY 02:
Transfer up to airport for flight over Nazca lines, lasting approximately 35 minutes.
